Yes, we recommend getting a haircut 2-3 days prior to a shoot to give your hair time to “settle”. If you have a short hairstyle like a line-up or fade that will look best right after a haircut than the day before the shoot or even the day of the shoot would be recommended.
If it’s in your budget then yes! Make up tends to look different on camera so a professional will know best what products to use (usually airbrushing). If you do your own makeup avoid products that give your skin a “shine” look as it will be greatly amplified by the flashes and lighting we use.
Absolutely! For men we will remove any blemishes, and whiten teeth and the whites of eyes. For Women we will do this as well as smooth your skin.
This completely depends on your particular shoot but on average 1-2 hours. This applies to all types of photo and video services we offer other than events that have a set time required for us to be shooting.
We recommend wearing clothing that fits well and is not excessively baggy. You should feel great in whatever you decide to wear, it’s all about confidence! Try to avoid bright colors or patterns that are distracting. Also avoid solid colors that are similar to your skin tone.
Homes tend to look more attractive if they are furnished/staged, but we can shoot an empty home as well. For photography we offer virtual staging services where we add furniture, artwork, etc. to give a more inviting feel to the photos. Unfortunately this is not available for video.
This depends on the type of shoot we’re doing. For Real Estate property photos we replace the sky in all photos regardless. This will make it look like a nice sunny day. If it’s raining we can still shoot interiors and come back another day for exteriors. If we’re shooting lifestyle photos outdoors it’s your call if you would like to reschedule. We can also replace the sky for lifestyle photos if it’s better for you to not reschedule. For video it’s your call, if you want a sunny look and we have to shoot outside then we recommend rescheduling.
Once we finish the shoot we will give you a timeline on when you will receive the edited photos and/or video. Another deciding factor is complexity of the editing and how many edited photos you will be receiving/how long your edited video will be. On average photos take 2-3 days to edit and videos take 3-4 days to edit. We also offer priority editing for an additional fee.
This will depend on the type of shoot you would like to do as well as how long we will need to shoot and edit to deliver the final product. On average photoshoots cost around $200 and video shoots cost around $300.
Absolutely! We offer a discount for new clients on their first project with us as well as “batched” projects. For instance if you would like to shoot 5 different videos with us and are able to film all 5 videos at the same time we would offer a discount. Another example would be if you would like to have headshots of 5 different employees taken and we are able to do them all the same day then we would offer a discount.
Absolutely! We normally shoot with a Canon R5 and Canon R but upon request can shoot with a Red Komodo 6K cinema camera. Please take into consideration that we have separate pricing if we use any of our cinema cameras.
We will select the best photos from the photoshoot to edit. You are more than welcome to have all the unedited photos at no extra cost. If you would like more photos edited we can discuss an editing cost depending on the amount of photos you would like edited.
Yes, we can recommend a few locations for your shoot depending on the type of shoot we are doing. If you have a location in mind please let us know so we can do some research into the location so we can find the best area and time of day to shoot.
